Research
Sloboda Lab focuses on the early life origins of health and disease. She is interested in how fetal adaptations to adversity influence the risk of chronic disease in aging individuals. Deborah is a highly accomplished researcher with multiple awards, including the International Society of Developmental Origins of Health and Disease Nick Hales Award and the Hamilton YWCA Woman of Distinction Award in Science Trade and Technology.
